Other- We are starting a new chapter in Science focusing on food chains, food webs and microorganisms. We are in the middle of completing a Social Studies project on Regions and Indians. The students have been researching a region paired with a tribe and have done thinking maps to record their research. They are working on a flip book to showcase each region/tribe. They will do a presentation when their flip books are complete. We are working on Author’s message to set up our Response to Literature writing. Starting in February we will start to put more focus on test strategies. In math we are working on multiplication using some picture strategies. Your kids are working hard and starting to really understand the expectations of upper grade!
